- NDS-KSA signs MOU to reinforce privacy in security verification and electronic prescription solution
According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) guidelines, an information security system must be established for sensitive medical information, and a certificate is required under the Digital Signature Act.
Both companies signed the agreement following the Digital Signature Act and the authority’s guidelines to verify the integrity between prescription dispensing in hospitals and medication dispensing through electronic prescriptions at pharmacies.
Moreover, the electronic prescription solution owned by NDS combined with the electronic signature personal verification solution provided by UCERT will strengthen the two companies’ cooperation for copromotion and comarketing.
“We expect to enhance convenience for patients who use the solutions through security and efficiency enhancement to meet the ‘untact’ trend in hospitals and pharmacies,” Kim said.
