- Nongshim Data System (NDS) commenced the project of upgrading functionality of 2010 Integrated Public Health Information System
Nongshim Data System (CEO Shin Jae-Duk), the in-house IT service provider of Nongshim Group announced that it has launched the project of upgrading functionality of 2010 Integrated Public Health Information System.
Integrated Public Health Information System is the information system designed to operate work duties of public health centers/branches and public health medical centers in an integrated manner.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare has led this project of functional enhancements to the currently operating Integrated Public Health Information System in order to establish stable public health policies, sophisticate performance and other statistical reports and to secure stability and performance of the system through database tuning.
Nongshim Data System (NDS) aims to accomplish a number of tasks through this project, including ▲ development and sophistication of the performance and other statistical report forms of Integrated Public Health Information System ▲ efficient system resource management and functional enhancement of application programs through database tuning and ▲ setting up guidelines for performance assurance of applications and standardization.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Welfare will be able to reduce work hours required to create statistics by incorporating changes in public health projects into the existing performance and other statistical report forms and to ensure stable information services through functional enhancements of database.
Shin Jae-Duk, the CEO of Nongshim Data System said in an interview, “We are going to spare no effort in upgrading the medical service infrastructure as the fundamental purpose of the public health informatization project is to improve the health of people. We are pretty confident that we’ll successfully implement this project based on our experiences of working with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and relevant institutions on the information systems in public health sector.
