- NDS Signs MOU for Health-Care Platform Project with Mediage
The NDS Healthcare Platform is preparing to offer different health care–related service models for personal health assessments, customized health management, and health functional food recommendations based on data from associated organizations, such as hospitals and checkup centers, and other data inputted directly by individuals. In this context, this agreement is part of establishing cooperation systems with health data producers, such as organizations and companies.
Mediage analyzes health indicators and provides customized guidelines depending on personal characteristics using personal clinical data based on big data and analysis engines from more than 400 domestic and overseas health examination centers.
This agreement will allow both companies to extend health care–related content by adding Mediage’s personal health indicators analysis and customized health-care services to the NDS Healthcare Platform, which is being promoted and developed. In addition, such companies plan to collaborate in expanding relevant projects, such as jointly exploring and promoting a new project that can create synergy for each other.
In 2020, NDS developed a solution for Seoul Medical Center called Smart Hospital through a pilot project to create a blockchain-based smart hospital service. At present, NDS is pushing the boundaries of its health care–related business through equity investing in U2Bio, a company dedicated to in vitro diagnostics.
Kim Joong-won, the CEO of NDA, said, “This MOU enables us to add personal health analysis–related content to the NDS Healthcare Platform. We will continue to seek out high-quality content related to health care to integrate IT services into personal health-care systems.”
